Job Description

Quality Inspector required. Our client is a well-established manufacturer of electrical systems for the automotive industry, based in the Diss, Norfolk area. Due to ongoing success they are seeking an enthusiastic Quality Inspector to join the team. Thesuccessful candidate will primarily be responsible for the inspection of wiring harnesses.Quality Inspector Position Overview

  • The visual inspection of components, including the use of tape measures, digital calipers and electronic magnification equipment
  • The programming and use of an automated cable tester
  • The manufacture of test leads for use with the automated cable tester
  • The use of electrical measuring equipment such as multi-meters
  • The recording and reporting of inspection and test results
  • Calibration of tooling
  • PAT testing
Quality Inspector Position Requirements
  • Previous experience within a Quality Inspection role
  • Based in a commutable distance of Diss, Norfolk
  • IT literate
  • Have a flexible attitude to ensure that tight deadlines can be met
  • Good communication skills
  • Be methodical; consistent; and capable of paying attention to detail
  • Be able to work well independently and as part of a team
Quality Inspector Position Remuneration
  • Salary is dependent on experience
  • Monday to Friday, full-time, permanent position
  • Holiday allowance and Pension
