Job Description

Primary Teaching Assistant for Year 3/4 ClassWe are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic teaching assistant to join our team at a primary school near Diss. The successful candidate will be working with a Year 3/4 class of 18 pupils on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.Responsibilities:

  • Assist the class teacher in delivering high-quality education to the pupils.
  • Work with individual pupils or small groups of pupils to reinforce learning and support their academic progress.
  • Help to create a safe and stimulating learning environment for the pupils.
  • Assist with the preparation of classroom materials and resources.
  • Support pupils with special educational needs or disabilities.
Requirements:
  • Experience of working as a teaching assistant or working with children in the care sector would be beneficial.
  • A passion for working with children and helping them to achieve their full potential.
  • GCSE Maths and English level C/5 or above
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A positive and proactive attitude towards work.
  • A willingness to learn and develop new skills.
