Reed are working with a successful organisation based in Diss, recruiting for the position of MarineOperations Coordinatorto join the team on a permanent, full-time basis.Working hours of Monday to Friday 8:30am-5pm, plus on call rota (paid extra for this).Responsibilities• Handle client enquiries for operations and consultancy operations• Prepare and send formal quotes, in line with client specific contracts as required• Ensure that profit margins are maximised wherever possible• Follow-up enquiries for operations, ensure that any customer feedback is gained in order to track any lost revenue• Scheduling of operations• Provide support to key projects• Client liaison and development• Select appropriate equipment and confirming suitability• Select appropriate transfer location, considering dimensions and client requirements• Co-ordinate mobilisation and demobilisation of equipment from storage to the location• Co-ordinate travel arrangements• Liaise with local agents and base operators before, during and after the operation• Monitor all movements, weather changes and any other factors which may affect the operation• Control base costs and put forward proposals to the Operations Manager to drive improvements to reduce cost whilst maintaining or improving safety• Prepare costing sheet for management approval• Ensure that suppliers costs are reflected in commercial offers and any deviation is discussed with both supplier and client and approved by the Operations Manager• Notify Accounts of awarded contract and prepare sales order for operational needs• Maintain contact with vessels, support craft and other interested parties before, during and after the operation• Update client with status of their operation, throughout entire operation• Send any QHSSE issues which are reported during the operation, to QHSSE Team for action.• Maintain good relationships with current clients and look to increase client base, including attending meetings and delivering presentations as required• Identify and attend appropriate industry events and social functions as required• Gathering and preparation of market data to track projects for dissemination by Strategic Team to relevant Team members for onward action• Complying with all relevant safety and environmental requirements in accordance with Company documented policies and proceduresPackage• Salary of £25,000 - £35,000 (negotiable dependant on experience)• 28 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays• Pension Scheme• Death in Service• Free parking• Employee discount scheme for retailers• Social activities• Full training and progression opportunities• Option for 1 day per week from home after training and probationPlease apply online with your updated CV as soon as possible if you’re interestedMarine | Shipping | Operations | Account Management | Client Relations | Offshore
