Job Description

Management AccountantSouth Norfolkc£40kA new opportunity has been made available for a Management Accountant to work with a forward thinking, dynamic organisation. As the Management Accountant your responsibilities will include;

Finance support in review of monthly P&L accounts for each function

Cost centre variance analysis, investigating and explaining variances

Holding budget holders to account for budgetary variances

Supporting budget holders in preparation of annual budgets

Preparing the monthly P&L account for each H.O function (as allocated)

Ensuring all month end postings for payroll, utility accruals and other establishment costs are recorded

Assist in preparing commentary for the Head of Finance in explaining variances to budget

Review and maintain revenue recognition workings for various departments; including calculation of accrued and deferred income of customers on the scheme

Ensuring the recognition is in line with IFRS15

Review of current processes with a view to improving efficiencies across all areas

Improving processes for accruals and prepayment reporting across the business

Supporting the Tax Team and Financial Accounts Team in preparation of quarterly VAT returns and other tax reporting where required

Supporting in the process of statutory accounts completion and compliance where required

Provide support during the audit process to ensure the smooth and timely running of audit queries
