Job Description

JOB TITLE: Logistics ManagerHOURS: 9:30am - 4:30pm, Mon-FriLOCATION: Diss, Norfolk - 20 minutes from Bury St Edmunds, Thetford & StowmarketSALARY: £42,000COMPANY: Multi-award winning non-profit organisationSTART DATE: Offering immediate interviewsTERM: PermanentOffice Angels are delighted to be supporting our Client in Diss,Norfolk who are looking for a Logistics Manager to join their diverse & inclusive work family! This is a new and exciting opportunity to join a multi-award winning non-profit organisation who are continuing to grow both in the UK and overseas!As the Logistics Manager you will:

  • Organise and ensure the smooth operation of a brand new 8000 sq ft. warehouse
  • Provide coaching and line management for a minimum of 2 team members
  • Assist in maintaining a forward stock projection taking inputs from all parts of the business, monitor stock levels and advise when restock is required
  • Assist in the planning of stock acquisition, raise Purchase Orders, liaise with suppliers and Third Party Logistics companies to ensure strategic draw down and delivery
  • Work with the team to drive continuous improvement in internal and external logistics processes
To be successful in this role you will:
  • Be CIPS Level 2/4 qualified (or equivalent)
  • Have previous experience within a logistics/procurement/supply chain environment
  • Be data-driven, highly organised and self-motivated
