Job Description

Electrical Foreman / £23.94 Per Hour / Based in Harleston, Suffolk / Monday to Friday / 7.00am till 3.00pm / Permanent Hales Group are working with their client to find an Electrical Foreman or Electrical Engineer to join their electrical department. You will be working as the head of the department, and will be the main point of contact ensuring that the workshop is runningsmoothly and efficiently.This is a hands on role, where you will be at the core of electrical insallations and wiring and maintinaing the Health and Safety of your team.This is a really good opportunity for someone to step in to the role and become a valued member of the team.Salary£23.94 Per HourHoursMonday to Friday7.00am till 3.00pmGeneral Duties

  • Identifying requirements from the Engineering Manager/Engineering department
  • Reading design specifications and technical drawings
  • Researching suitable solutions
  • Working to required standards e.g. British (BS), European (EN) and Worldwide standards
  • Liaising with others in the design team
  • Attending meetings as and when required
  • Conducting test
  • Reworking and rewiring, installing electrical components to products
  • Recording, analysing and interpreting test data
  • Proposing modifications and retesting products
  • Qualifying the final product or system
  • Servicing and maintaining equipment
  • Following and implementing all aspects of Health and Safety
  • Quality inspections on all work

  • Ensuring good housekeeping within the
  • Ensuring safe working practices at all times
  • Ensure that protective clothing is always worn if in the workshop
  • Visible champion of Health and Safety
  • Ensure your colleagues follow safe working practices
  • Reporting of near misses’ as well as accidents’ in the Accident Reporting book
  • Comply to the Health & Safety Legislation, safe working practices and the company Health and Safety Manual at all times
Skills
  • CompEx Certificate - We would like to be essential, but you will be considered without it.
