Job Description

Customer Service Advisor / Diss, Norfolk / £21,000 per annum / Full time / PermanentAs a Customer Service Advisor you will be on the frontline dealing with the returns process for customers, handling enquiries whilst ensuring full customer satisfaction is delivered. The role involves liaising with other internal and external colleagues,customers, and suppliers in a proactive and efficient manner.Hours are: Monday to Friday, 8.45am to 5.15pm, with 1 hour lunch break.Opportunity to work 3 days office based and 2 days home based after a successful completion of probation.Key Responsibilities:

  • Raise returns on systems for various different scenarios, sending details over to customers including all paperwork to go with the return.
  • Arrange collections via carriers to ensure goods are received back in a timely manner.
  • Investigate all customer queries for example, goods which are no longer required, faulty or damaged.
  • Engage with internal teams as and when required to resolve queries.
  • Engage with our vendors if items are faulty or incorrect.
  • Crediting returns if authorised to do so.
  • Sorting repairs to be returned to the relevant vendor.
  • Liaising with customers, internal colleagues, and vendors confidently over the phone or via email.
  • Raising returns for all delivered goods (including raising the return for damaged in transit units, where customer has signed for goods where appropriately or not) which can be received by telephone, web or email requests.
  • Liaising with customers where goods have not been received back in the believed condition.
  • Resolve non-conformances for returned goods where the items were received by the customer.
  • Communicate with the warehouse where there are issues with the customers shipment.
  • Answer incoming communications professionally and in a timely manner, responding accordingly.
  • Acknowledge receipt of communications, giving a timescale for your next response.
  • Arrange the collection of stock rotations for customers where this is an agreed service.
