We have an immediate requirement for an engineering business based in Diss. This is initially a short term contract but could eventually run longer as they currently have an up turn in work. If youre an experienced Laminator please apply with an up to date version of your CV.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES1. Laminate accurately to the required quality and deliverables.2. Trimming and fitting of composite pre-preg components and other assemblies where appropriate.3. Be fully conversant with vacuum bagging techniques, reporting any issues or shortages to your line manager.4. Load and run the Autoclave(s) ensuring the correct cycle time is selected and ensuring preventative maintenance is adhered to at all times.5. Responsible for cleanliness of the composite production facility through operating good housekeeping best practice.6. Fully document and build templates for initial prototypes ensuring production runs can be cut as efficiently as possible.7. Interpret layup manuals and drawings, updating for approval where the documents are not to spec.8. Work in an efficient manor to meet and exceed laminating/Trimming target times.9. Conduct Line inspections.10. Advise of any delays during manufacture to the Production Manager in time for any difficulties to be resolved.Continuity of production and agreed deadlines through flexible time keeping.11.
