Job Description

Rthirteen are excited to be supporting an established insurance company in their search for a Claims Handler to join their team. Predominantly telephone based, the purpose of your role will be to deal with claims coming through the organisation, handling these in an efficient and effective manner whilst maintaining a high standard ofcustomer service.This is a full time, permanent position based in Diss. The working hours include 9.00am - 5.30pm, Monday to Friday, working 3 days in office and 2 days from home. The offered salary for this opportunity is £23,000 per annum.The companyThe forward thinking and fast-growing insurance company are always thinking about their next steps.   • Efficiently handing all claims that come through to you.
  • Continuously delivering a high level of customer service.
  • Providing advice and guidance to customers on claims.
  • Communicating all claims decisions in a timely manner to customers.
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements.
You will have/be
  • Proven customer service skills and experience.
  • Insurance knowledge and experience is desired, but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including strong telephone manner.
  • The ability to prioritise and effectively manage own workload.
  • Computer literate.
