Job Description

Our client is one of the UKs largest and most successful construction and infrastructure companies, currently recruiting for a Plumber, to work on a high profile, nuclear facilities upgrade in Devon.This is an ad hoc, call out position.Duties include:

  • Service, repair, maintenance and breakdown of plumbing & heating systems.
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance.
  • Attend breakdowns.
  • Carrying out onsite supervision providing technical and practical support.
  • Fault finding analysis, maintenance and repairs.
  • Installation and upgrading work on a planned and reactive basis.
  • Complete works in accordance with specification and current regulations. reparation of the facilities for home matches.
  • Site reports
  • Maintenance and repair of the heating systems within all sites, Radiators, etc.
  • Maintenance of the drainage systems. Alterations to the above with some new installation work. Analyses problem and identifies appropriate tools and materials for repair.
  • Deliver a high standard of technical expertise.
  • Operate in accordance with H & S and Quality procedures.
  • Identify and rectify routine maintenance problems where applicable.
  • Identify and report common equipment performance issues.
Skills/Experience:
  • NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing and Heating or equivalent
  • JIB Card
  • Experience working in a similar role
  • Experience working on nuclear projects is advantageous but not essential
You will need to be a team player, with strong communication skills.You will possess security clearance or happy for us to obtain clearance on your behalf.
