Job Description

EC&I TECHNICIAN / SHIFT WORK AFTER REFURB PHASE/ PERMANENTLOCATION: DEVONSALARY IS NEGOTIABLE FOR THE RIGHT CANDIDATEHunter Mason are working on the behalf of our client based in Devon. The company itself are presenting and interesting and exciting opportunity for a CEC&I technician to join the company on a permanent basis. The role will be focused on inspecting, testingand recommissioning existing equipment. It will also involve modifying and upgrading older equipment to include panel building, rewiring, and setting to work. This work will be on a wide selection and different types of equipmentSalary for this role is negotiable for the right candidate and can be discussed further if interested in the position.The ideal candidate will be from an Electrical, Control and Instrumentation background, or will be eager to learn all disciplines.Whilst in the refurbishment phase, this role is 7am - 4pm, Monday - Friday. This will then be moving to shift work (shift patterns tbc).This role comes a long with a package of benefits, if you secure a role with my client you will be entitled to the below, just to name a few

If you have the following experience, I would love to have a chat with you;
  • Worked as part of a maintenance team.
  • Produced detailed condition reports and planned preventative maintenance, compliance tasks and upgrade works.
  • Tested and inspected equipment as well as recording defects and deficiencies.
  • Used P&IDs & electrical drawings to interrogate plants for defects
  • Worked with valve set ups and loop tuning.
  • Assisted contractors and vendors in carrying out works
  • Written method statements and risk assessments.
  • Maintained building electrical services to including power and lighting
To be a successful candidate in this role you will.
  • NVQ Level 3 in an Electrical, Control or Instrumentation discipline or City & Guilds Electro technology certificate.
  • Minimum of 5 years time served in an industrial environment
  • Knowledge of MMS, Fault finding, Test and inspection, SCADA control and PLC systems.
  • Experience of working with: Industrial electrical supply systems, 3 Phase motor control, Instrumentation and control systems. Pneumatic control and VSD and DOL starters.
