Job Description

Repairs & Maintenance Scheduler Contract Opportunity via BRCJobs: Repairs & Maintenance Scheduler Location: Devon Sector: Housing & Property Duration: 2 - 3 Months + Hourly: £12.50 - £15.00 Start Date: ASAP Our social housing client is looking recruit a temporary Repairs and Maintenance Scheudler to support a team with scheduling and planning works required to social housing properties and supporting the overall business functions.Main Responsibilities:

  1. You will be part of the repairs and maintenance team, taking calls from clients and customers, booking and re-scheduling appointments for contractors to carry our repairs and planned works to tenants properties
  2. Produce written reports on the performance of the operational delivery business, monitoring completed and outstanding works
  3. Order materials and liaise with suppliers and operatives to ensure timely completion of both individual jobs or larger programmes of works
  4. Keep customers informed and up to date with any updates or changes to appointments and answering any queries
  5. Working closely with the coordinating team as well as subcontractors and trades teams to ensure a high quality customer service is delivered
  6. Raise works orders and maintain a computerised system, ensuring all works are logged and recorded on the database
  7. Maintain stock levels for staff, including ordering tools and materials and booking in vehicle services or ordering uniforms
Job Requirements:
  1. A levels
  2. NVQ in business management
  3. Ability to utilise computerised systems
