SF Executive are working with an Devon based, private equity backed services organisation to source a rounded and communicative Chief Financial Officer. The organisation in question is on a very strong growth trajectory and needs a CFO that on the one hand can make sure the finance team and associated infrastructure are fit for purpose, but also work with the CEO to set and drive the strategic direction ofthe business. As well as private equity funding, the business also has a slug of external debt - ideally you will not only have experience of managing PE stakeholders but also the providers of debt solutions, instilling confidence into the providers of these funding mechanisms. Outside of the debt and funding piece, you will stand shoulder to shoulder with the CEO of the organisation to shape and drive strategy such that the business and its underlying infrastructure grows in a consistent and controlled way. At the right time you will ao lead an exit on behalf of the current private equity backers. In addition to having been a No 1 CFO in a standalone business, wed ideally like to speak to CFOs that have experience of leading exit transactions within standalone companies with an EV of over £50m. Candidates with experience of businesses with a servicesfootprint would also be of interest. You will also have experience of managing organic growth complemented by M&A. This role will be three or four days a week in the office so ideally wed like to engage with PE ready candidates that are can manage this logistically without the need to commute excessively or stay away from home too much. Wed expect the equity on this one to generate an interesting wealth creation opportunity when the time comes to divest.
