Job Description

Ford & Stanley - The Rail Recruitment Specialists are currently recruiting for a Senior Project Manager for a well-established Electrical Engineering Contactor, based in Derbyshire. They work on a variety of rail-based projects, includingstation upgrades, depot installs, DNS, points heating, level crossings, and telecoms. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be a vital member of the team, overseeing multiple projects varying from short, reactive/maintenance works, to large-scale refurbishment projects.Candidates must be open to the possibility of occasional UK-wide travel, and overnight stays when necessary. (Travel and expenses will be paid and a company vehicle will be provided). You will also have the option of flexible working once established withthe team.Location (s):Derbyshire.Role and Responsibilities

  • Delivery of M&E or E&P projects to Network Rail Standards, on a UK-wide basis.
  • Help establish, build, and maintain relationships with key clients.
  • Liaise with your team and clients to deal with any engineering or procurement issues and routinely hold progress report meetings.
  • Assist with the procurement of materials and on-site labour.
  • Manage your project team in the effective day to day running of site activities
  • Ensure all relevant technical and safety standards are applied.
Qualifications
  • Valid PTS.
  • COSS.
  • Relevant Electrical qualifications
  • ECS / CSCS.
  • Management/H&S Training (SMSTS or similar).
  • Previous CRE experience.
