Job Description

Hope you are well, I am currently working with a client in the east midlands that is looking for an interim to cover Project management for Neonatal and Maternity services.Role Band 8A/8B DoEInside IR35Remote workingFull time or Part time/ Compressed hoursEssential Skills Project managementLeading a teamWorking to timescalesCoordinating a teamNHS ExperienceDay to Day

  • Lead programme delivery against organisational and national objectives, achieving quality outcomes, value for money and greater efficiency
  • Lead on the production of any national submissions to NHSE in relation to the programme as required
  • Work with all stakeholders to support successful delivery and overcome challenges whilst working to tight deadlines.
  • Managing the secretariat and project support of the Programme Board and associated work streams, coordinating resources
  • Work with key stakeholders to design, plan, manage and deliver the project on time and through a process that includes setting goals, objectives, resources, milestones and measures of success which deliver significant and sustained change/service transformation.
  • Ensure that benefit realisation and change management processes are integral to the project
  • Ensure appropriate data collection systems are in place or established to ensure changes are evidenced-based and health and social care service improvements can be quantified and monitored.
  • Apply creativity and innovative techniques to the project including learning from outside our organisation
  • Ensure developed and maintained project documentation including (but not limited to) project plans, issue logs and risk registers and escalate issues and risks as appropriate.
  • Lead on short, medium and long term planning to achieve programme objectives, responding to change as it occurs
  • Provide regular written programme reports/presentations
  • Analysing and presenting information or other data which may be contentious or uncomfortable news for service providers.
  • Identify conflicts and escalate key issues when delivery may be at risk or jeopardised and problem solve to meet project objectives, working with key stakeholders to implement solutions
  • Supporting the portfolio of initiatives in demonstrating value for money for the current spend through tracking, managing and delivering agreed benefits Leadership
