Production Supervisor (Progression to Manager)£33,000 - £40,000 + Progression To Production Manager + Structured Career Path + Pay and Role Progression + Monday - Friday + Overtime Shirebrook Are you from production background looking to take your first steps to become a Production Manager where you will be working for a rapidly expanding and renowned companyAre you looking to progress your career and become a production manager for a specialist fabrication and metalworking company you will have a structed training plan allowing you to progression within the business to Production Supervisor. Are you looking fora varied role where you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating activities within the workshop to ensure that orders are completed in a timely manner.On offer is the fantastic opportunity to work for a successful, established company who specialise in an extensive range of subcontract manufacturing services such as CNC folding, laser cutting and a board range of fabrication processes. They are the marketleading supplier of custom-made premium components for a variety of sectors across the UK.You will play an essential role to ensure that all orders are completed on-time through coordinating the workshop.Training:

  • On- the job training shadowing the Director of the company to understand the operations of the workshop
The Role:
  • Organise workshop activities based on the production plan
  • Ensuring the safe running of an efficient Workshop
  • Responding to issues and implementing corrective measures
  • Delegating tasks and leading a small team of Workshop Engineers
The Person:
  • Production background in manufacturing
  • Must be able to interpret 2D drawings
  • Knowledge of workshop Health and Safety
