Job Description

Multi-Skilled Operative - BuilderLocation: DerbyshireSalary: £23,363 - £25,177 dependent on skills, experience & qualificationsClosing Date: Friday 29 May 2020Do you have the right tools for the jobAbout the roleThis role will focus on carrying out all to provide Groundworks, Fencing and general building services as required as directed by the Area Supervisor.You will be ensuring that repairs are undertaken with a pleasing and helpful manner to all tenants.You will be carrying out the duties in compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act and their Health and Safety Policy.Our client want somebody who can:

  • Provide Groundworks, Fencing and general building services as required
  • Carry out additional general maintenance works such as Roofing, carpentry work, plastering, wall tiling, basic plumbing, drainage, paving, guttering, rendering, concreting, stonework etc.
  • Complete the repair and maintenance tasks and associated job activities in compliance with the company’s agreed customer service standards and operational procedures.
  • Carry out repair job assessments (inspections), identifying the repair to be completed and materials required to complete the repair task.
  • Participate in the repairs and maintenance out-of-hours emergency service when required.
  • To work regularly alone in or around customer’s homes, void properties or other similar sites.
  • To work at heights from scaffold platforms, ladders or mechanical equipment..
  • Drives the company vehicle provided and comply with the vehicle maintenance and repairs procedures.
