Our client a branded high growth UK business, who are part of an international group with a dynamic multi-site set up is currently looking to appoint a new Business Intelligence Analyst to partner its finance, procurement, IT and sales teams as part of their exciting five year growth journey. This brand-new role within the business will have a great deal of breadth and depth as this business looks to bolster its abilities to model, manipulate and analyse real time data to maximise profitability and margin and to enhance process and operational efficiency.This is a hugely successful multi-channel business operating in a highly commercial, price driven and fast moving group. As such, the data types and BI needs are widely varied and work will span from supporting existing, legacy solutions, to the transition of new solutions into service and ongoing operations and business support. Working closely with key stakeholders including the Finance Director, Commercial Director and Head of Purchasing your key responsibilities will include:Setting strategy and shaping working practices for a best-in-class Business intelligence and Insights data function.Working as part of an effective team in providing data platform and BI operations to support to a variety of customers, investors and funding channels.Forecasting and planning to ensure required resourcing levels to support BAU and project requirements.Working closely with the Finance and Commercial team and business stakeholders right across the group, ensuring the smooth transition of new performance and margin data and BI solutions into service.Upskilling and evolving the wider businesses awareness and capabilities to support new cloud driven technologies including Quick Sight and AWS etc.Partnering with business stakeholders to drive MIS and costing systems enhancements, utilising data and BI capabilities to improve business performance.Providing comprehensive medium and longer term forecasting analysis, managing budgets, including internal cross charging considerations and potential joint venture related costs.Managing a small team of data and business intelligence analysts.To be the architect and lead business partner for the development and adoption of agile methodologies. Our client is looking for an experienced data modelling and BI analyst / business manager with proven leadership qualities. An experience and sophisticated understanding of how to develop and maintain agile working methodologies; an abundant ability to challenge, facilitate and influence at all levels across the group will be advantageous.The successful candidate will be one or more of the following, a qualified commercial, financial planning and analysis accountant with exceptional analytical and modeling skills, a qualified ITIL professional with a strong negotiating background and/or a Quick Sight / AWS Business analyst with an in-depth and hands-on business intelligence background.The role will be based in the Northamptonshire / MK area with flexible working (post covid.
