You will be the bridge between the technical solutions sales team and the Design team and you will oversee the designs from concept to completion.This will suit a strong Manager/Leader with a Mechanical Engineering and Design background looking for a truly unique and varied role.The Role:- Manging Design Projects to ensure they meet each bespoke customer solution - Customer focused role to ensure all technical queries are answered and all solutions sales orders are fulfilled - Other duties include but are not limited to: Configuration management, continuous improvement activities, overseeing 3D CAD design projects, working closely with the sales team and Managing a small team of skilled Design Engineers- Joining the Senior Management team with the opportunity to progress even higher within the businessThe Person:- Must have Mechanical Engineering Degree and must have previous Mechanical Design experience and understanding - Must have previous experience in an Engineering Management role within a bespoke engineering setting- Experience in design for manufactureEngineering Manager, Design Manager, Engineering Design Manager, Project Manager, Derby, Ashbourne, Matlock, Leek, Uttoxeter, Burton upon Trent, Peak DistrictIf you are interested and think that you meet these criteria then apply or contact Olly Shone Required skills
