Job Description

The RoleOur Customer Service Coordinators are one of our most important roles in the business. A great Customer Service Coordinator will help keep our business running smoothly and be the dedicated point of contact for our customers, to manage customer orders andaftersales issues, ensuring their needs have been fully understood, and the customer is at the heart of everything we do.To support the business you will;

  • Be responsible for Aftersales activities including managing and owning customer complaints through to completion.
  • Liaise closely with other teams within PAM including despatch, stock ground, quality and commercial, investigating our customers queries, and keeping them well informed about the progress of these investigations.
  • Use the CRM Salesforce system to manage the Aftersales work so previous experience working with this or a similar system would be beneficial.

As a methodical and approachable person, you will be able to work well on your own and take full ownershipand responsibility for the work you do.There is some specific [experience/skills/knowledge] we are looking for from suitable candidates;Experience:
  • Previous experience in a customer facing role (in person or by telephone) would be preferable but is not essential.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office and SAP is essential as is the use of a CRM system
Skills:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including listening and questioning.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work flexibly to meet changing priorities and deadlines in an unpredictable and reactive environment.
  • A level of resilience is required in order to be able to deal with unhappy customers in a professional manner, remaining patience and empathetic.
  • Negotiation skills and the ability to resolve conflict
  • A natural desire to help people and provide a first class customer experience at all times.
  • Quality focus, accuracy and attention to detail.
  • An enthusiastic approach to work and a positive attitude.
  • Driven to seek improvements in the way that we work, to suggest new ideas and to influence colleagues to help implement new initiatives
  • Technical knowledge of all our product ranges and an understanding of our company processes and procedures so that queries can be resolved at first point of contact.
