Job Description

Customer Service AdvisorBasic salary between £20,000 and £22,000 depending on experienceBased in Pinxton, NottinghamshireMy client is a specialist engineering company who are currently growing in the UK and are looking for a Customer Service Advisor to support both UK and export customers. If you have customer service experience and also good administration skills this couldbe a great opportunity for you! The Role:

  • Youll be liaising with customers both in the UK and overseas as a significant amount of the role is dealing with export clients.
  • Handling telephone enquiries as well as email enquiries and some over the counter type sales.
  • As part of the role youd be required to prepare quotations, process orders, prepare export documentation and other admin related to order processing.
  • Youll be responsible for checking orders for pricing, delivery conditions etc and liaising with the stores and production departments.
  • Part of the role also includes liaising with freight forwarders
  • Working hours are Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 5pm and Friday 8.30am - 4pm
The Person:
  • Were looking for someone with great communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Youll have customer service experience and also be used to administration and completing paperwork
  • Word and Excel experience is essential, and youll be inputting customer information into Sage although this can be taught
  • Were looking for a team player who is also self motivated to deal with all customer queries within 48 hours.
  • Youll be keen to learn and happy to attend training courses when needed.
