AV Commissioning EngineerDerby (Field Based)£40,000 - £42,000 22 days annual leave + bank holidays + company vehicle + fuel card + paid door to door travel + overtime + phone + laptop + toolsThe Company:Fantastic learning and development, progression routes and a company that prides themselves on work/life balance and putting their employees first.With offices spread across multiple continents, over 130 happy employees worldwide and a passion and reputation for providing first class AV solutions for a well renowned client base, they are now looking to expand their ever-growing engineering team.The Role:To assist with the installation of corporate AV systems and be responsible for the commissioning and testing of any installed hardware and software.Key duties include:- Carry out the installation of corporate AV hardware including control systems, projectors, screens, cabling, cameras, microphones and speakers.- Build data racks to a tidy, high standard.- To carry out the configuration of audio DSPS.- To commission and test installed systems.- Provide necessary product training to clients and handover once completed.- Follow all health and safety procedures.Essential Qualities and Skills:- Minimum of 1 years’ AV installation experience.- The ability to configure systems such as Biamp, QSC, Dante, Multicast, Cisco or Poly- The ability to pass security vetting / DBS checks.- Full UK Driving LicensePreferred Qualities and Skills:- CTS certification- Manufacturer certifications with Biamp, QSC or DanteIn return:You will receive a salary between £40K-£42K for working 8 hours a day and will also be paid the same hourly rate for door to door travel. A vehicle, tools, phone and laptop will also be provided along with overtime rates paid at time and ½ if working overthe weekend.
