Job Description

Applications Analyst (Housing sector)Configure, Build, Support and Enhance the NorthGate housing management solution along with other innovative applications in the application suite. Technical analysis and exciting project workClient DetailsEast Midlands based Housing OrganisationDescription

  • Undertake regular application reviews to ensure that solutions are fit for purpose and easily supportable
  • Develop expertise in key business areas and ensure technology fits their needs
  • Provide technical expertise to the business on new initiatives and projects
  • Contribute and adhere to robust processes to make sure the transition of initiatives from project to BAU support is both effective and sustainable
  • Manage BAU enhancements and small projects
  • Be part of bigger projects, providing SME and provide support with implementation, testing and integration
  • Provide expert 2nd and 3rd line support to the Service desk responding to tickets in accordance with agreed SLAs to ensure customer expectations are met and exceeded
  • Investigate and diagnose system faults and errors
  • Attend software user groups and conferences
  • Liaise with consultants and contractors providing additional resource
  • Work with other housing associations tech teams to promote and share good practice
    • ProfileMust have experience working in the Housing Sector with demonstrable knowledge of the NorthGate housing management solutionTechnical Analyst with experience working in Systems Support, Applications Analyst, Business Systems Analysis or similar job rolesCompetent working with SQL to query databasesApproachable, collaborative and able to establish relationships across the organisationGood attention to detail and ability to document business requirementsProblem solving in nature, always looking for ways to improve and enhance systems and processesJob Offer£37,500 - £42,500 + 9% pension + 36 holidays annually + 2 days working from home + training Required skills
