Job Description

Recruit4Staff are proud to be representing their client, an industry leading manufacturer, in their search for a Team Leader to work in their Deeside based manufacturing facility.What our client is offering the successful Team Leader:

  1. Salary: £37,000 per annum
  2. Working 6am - 6pm -Monday to Friday
  3. 3-Day Weekend
  4. Uniform and PPE provided
  5. 23 days holiday per year

The Role - Team Leader
  1. Team leader for a busy engineering warehouse operation
  2. Managing a team of logistics & production operatives
  3. Ensuring daily targets are met
  4. Operate a HS&E Management system that ensures safe working practices are always used for all tasks.
  5. Remove risk from processes wherever possible and minimise residual risks.
  6. Identify and implement most cost efficient methods of production.
  7. Improve Schedule Adherence achievement and accuracy of delivery date.
  8. Improve supply of After Sales parts and service level to Customer
  9. Achieve on time delivery of internal and external material supply.
  10. Reduce material scrap and supplier rejects.
  11. Create a workplace that is safe, efficient, and easily managed.
  12. Maintain lead times on all products that is acceptable to the customer
What the client is looking for in the successful Team Leader:
  1. Minimum of 5 years experience working in leadership role within an engineering/manufacturing company ESSENTIAL
  2. Previous experience overseeing warehouse/ stores operations ESSENTIAL
  3. Hold an NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent in an Engineering/Manufacturing/Logistics related discipline BENEFICIAL
  4. Qualifications in continuous improvement training BENEFICIAL
  5. Proven track record of leading a team ESSENTIAL
  6. Ability to lead and motivate a team ESSENTIAL
  7. Experience of delivering effective people management
  8. Excellent communication and leadership skills
  9. Experience managing production targets & lead times
