Job Description

Senior Cabin Fitter / Multi Trader, Based in Deeside, Flintshire, working days Monday to Friday, Salary: £11.50ph + overtime at time + half, 25 days holiday (+ bank holidays), pension, life insurance and excellent training / career development opportunities.We have an exciting opportunity for a Modular Cabin Senior Fitter / Multi Trader to join the market leading provider of Portable cabins, Secure Storage Solutions, Modular buildings and associated. The depot operation stores and prepares the units ready forhire or sale, installing, refurbishing and modifying as required. We are keen to hear from candidates with experience in a similar role e.g. Cabin Fitter, Fabricator / Fitter, Multi Trader, Facilities Maintenance Operative or similar.The role:The companys Cabin Fitters are multi-skilled and carry out a variety of tasks every day whilst refurbishing the fleet of cabins (wood, plastic and steel) for hire. Full training provided

  • Complete refurbishment of the cabins
  • To be able to read and interpret CAD Drawings
  • Completing basic plumbing or electrical work (PAT Testing); installing sinks, taps, worktops, water heaters, hand dryers etc.
  • Fitting and removal of partitions, floors, ceilings & other fittings
  • Cleaning units or preparing furniture for the units
  • Preparation, shot blasting and painting both interior and exterior paintwork
  • Use of use a B1 Forklift or Power Pallet Truck or Low Loader Picker to move units and items.
  • Fit door locks and cut keys and perform basic uncoded welding.
  • Lay vinyl floor coverings
  • Cut a window/door panel from a blank panel and repair window roller shutters.
  • All other general maintenance, repair, assembly and fitting work as required.
Candidate requirements:You would need to have a willingness to learn; the ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team; a flexible approach to work and overtime.
  • Preferably have experience in a manual role within a installation, fitter, maintenance or manufacturing environment e.g. Fabricator / Fitter, Multi Trader, Facilities Maintenance Operative or similar.
  • Experience of using power tools would be highly advantageous.
  • A good understanding of H&S, quality and manufacturing processes would be advantageous.
  • Preferably havecompleted IOSH Working Safely and SSSTS training
  • A good work ethic and positive attitude with the desire to train, develop and learn new skills.
