Finishing OperatorCompetitive SalaryDeeside, FlintshireThe RoleAre you well organized, reliable, able to understand and follow clear processes and instructions, and like being hands on with your day-to-day work If so, we are looking for you.The MM Group (MM), a global leader in carton board and folding cartons, is looking to recruit a Finishing Operator to set up and operate Gluing machines.Key Responsibilities:The key responsibilities of a Finishing Operator include, but are not limited to:

  • Make ready Bobst Gluing machine
  • Producing a range of carton work including straight-line crash lock and 4/6 corner
  • Starts gluing run and ensures that the process runs smoothly, achieving output and quality performance targets in line with standard operating procedures
  • Carry out planned operator maintenance
  • Working with automation, robot cells.

  • Glue machine experience (Bobst/Jagenberg)
  • Understanding of Print Industry, processes and equipment
  • Manufacturing experience (essential)
  • A proactive approach to problem solving and decision making
  • Able to use own initiative and demonstrate input into continuous improvement initiatives
  • Be a confident team player
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience of window patching and basket machines is desired but not essential.
