Job Description

Finishing AssistantCompetitive SalaryDeeside, FlintshireThe RoleDo you possess experience working in a production environment Are you a strong team player, with excellent communication skills, a lively can-do attitude and a great work ethic If so, we have an exciting new challenge for you.The MM Group is looking for a Finishing Assistant to assist in the operation of the Gluing department and to provide general assistance to the operator as required.Key Responsibilities:The key responsibilities of a Finishing Assistant include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist with the loading and unloading of cartons on Gluing machines
  • Setting case erectors and K&Z robot cells
  • Sorting cartons of suspect quality
  • Move printed/unprinted product around the factory/department as required
  • To work within Company procedures and S.O.P.s with Health & Safety as a priority
  • Working within the team in future automation area
  • To check and maintain the quality of the work produced
  • Provide general assistance on gluing machines and in other areas of the factory as required.
