Job Description

Piers Meadows Recruitment are looking for a confident Band 6 Physiotherapist (Neuro) Neuro-Rehabilitation Centre, based in Sheffield

We are looking for a confident Physiotherapist with Band 6 Neuro experience, to work in a purpose-built brain injury unit. The unit is dedicated to continuing care for those with complex care needs related to their brain injury.

You will work closely with clients throughout their journey, with the ultimate aim of rehabilitating clients to the point where they can be involved in their future care. You will be creating individual rehab programmes for each resident and work closely with them to help regain as many motor skills as possible.

You will be working alongside Rehabilitation Support Workers, registered Rehabilitation Nurses, Rehabilitation Consultant, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Neuropsychologists, and Speech and Language Therapists with close links with our local specialist GP

Starting ASAP, 37.5 hours, 6 months minimum locum contract

Established over 20 years ago, we are a brain injury rehabilitation centre offering specialist residential care for up to 23 individuals, including 8 continuing care beds for clients with complex care needs related to their brain injury.Our aim is to assess and rehabilitate clients to a point where they can be involved in their future care, either in a step down or community setting.
