Job Description

About usBristol Street Motors is expanding its Nottingham presence with the opening of a brand new Van Centre in June 2022! Its a really exciting time to join us in this new venture and we are looking for talented colleagues to help us deliver the excellent servicethat our Customers require.We are recruiting a Service and Maintenance Technician to join the team. If you are looking to be an integral part of the businesses growth and success, and are from either a franchised dealer or an independent garage, then we want to hear from you!We are offering a basic salary of £30,240 with an OTE up to £34,240 plus a sign on bonus of £1,000 when you join and another £1,000 at month 13!About the RoleOur Service and Maintenance Technicians are expected to undertake the following duties:

  • The ability to undertake basic servicing & repairs on current models
  • Be able to replace fast fit items
  • Interpret and complete department paperwork, including Service check sheets, health checks and PDI sheets
  • Operate our CitNOW system
  • Be able to remove and refit major units i.e. engines and gearboxes
  • Ability to use manufacturer diagnostic equipment to rectify basic concerns
About YouIn order to be successful you must hold:
  • A relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3
  • Recent experience within a dealership environment
  • A full UK Driving Licence
  • Own set of tools
