ROLE: Stores Operative - EngineeringLOCATION: Clitheroefuture relocation to M65 Darwen area March 2024 due to expansionSALARY:Circa £28’000 to £30’000 plus overtime dependent on experienceGrowing as a global engineering manufacturer throughout UK, Europe and US. An exciting time to join!Stores Operative – Role and Key skills:We are currently searching for a Stores Operative to support the Production team with deliveries, collections, Spare Parts Preparation, Inventory and general tasks within the production team.

  • It is essential you are comfortable using hand and power tools, also driving Forklift truck.
  • Driving licence is essential. Pool vehicle available for deliveries.
  • Coordinating spares collections and delivery.
  • Spare parts cutting and preparation.
  • Managing stock checks.
  • Supporting the business to help set up national events.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Hands on approach to your work is absolutely key.
We are seeking a Stores Operative who has most importantly a positive attitude and manner, an excellent team member, someone who naturally goes above and beyond coupled with strong communication skills to develop and build internal and external relationships.We can offer training to develop and support you in this role. It is key you are comfortable using power and hand tools (mainly grinder and saw). Ideal for someone who wants to develop. You can be at the start of your career, looking for a career change into engineering/manufacturing or even graduate level.
