Job Description

School CleanerThe Aurora Woodlands School is an Good ratedinnovative provider of education and care,supporting young boys aged 10 - 19 with complex needs typically related to Aspergers Syndrome,Autism and other conditions.Were currently looking for a part timeCleanerworking Monday to Friday 7.15am to 9.15am, Term Time Only. The Role:To provide a cleaning service for the school across all typesof rooms, including offices, classrooms, laboratories, halls, corridors, and toilets.Key Duties: Like many SEN environments; your duties are likely to vary and therefore candidates will need to be flexible and be able to lend a hand whenever required. A full job description is available on request. Please email if you would like a copy. Skills and Qualifications:Successful candidates are likely to demonstrate:

  • Some knowledge of Health and Safety Regulation in regards to cleaning equipment and cleaning materials.
  • Ability to work effectively and supportively as a member of the school team.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to prioritise work and be flexible.
  • Experience of undertaking a range of cleaning duties.
