Job Description

ROLE: Mechanical Assembly Fitter LOCATION:Clitheroefuture relocation to M65 Darwen in March 2024 due to expansionSALARY: Up to £30000 plus overtime dependent on experienceGrowing as a global manufacturer throughout UK, Europe and US. As aMechanical Assembly Fitter you will work as part of a team, individually assembling bespoke machinery directly from assembly tehcnical drawings working hand in hand with mechancialdesign engineers to ensure the product is producedto the highest standards.The company culture is one that is positive, warm, welcoming, supportive and driven. We are searching for an individual that has the attitude to naturally go above and beyond. Mechanical Assembly Fitter - Key skills:

  • Hands on approach to your work is absolutely key.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Solid understanding of mechanical principles and assembly techniques.
  • Experience with pneumatic and or hydraulic assemblies.
  • Positive attitude and manner.
  • Excellent communicator to develop and build customer relationship.
  • Positive attitude working as a team and supporting colleagues.
Mechanical Assembly Fitter - Role:
  • Assemble mechanical components and systems according to specifications, utilizing hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications to understand assembly requirements.
  • Embrace and adapt to new technologies, methodologies, and industry trends to enhance the assembly processes and optimize efficiency.
  • Conduct routine inspections of mechanical equipment, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues, propose and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime and maximize productivity, considering new approaches and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with other team members, including engineers and technicians, to coordinate workflow, resolve technical problems, and ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations, to maintain a safe working environment.
