Job Description

Manufacturing Engineer37 hours across 4 days. Mon - Thurs. Friday off.Do you have manufacturing engineering experience, and are you seeking a new job in Lancashire Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a collaborative company recruit a Manufacturing Engineer, and the role comes with an attractive salary and benefits package.As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will work closely within a cross-functional value stream to help support the businesss ongoing operations.In your first few weeks in this Manufacturing Engineer role, you can expect to:

  • Work closely within the team to maintain consistency in terms of rate production across the projects within the business
  • Facilitate complex problem identification, containment and resolution
  • Create and implement action plans to rectify localised and systematic process breakdowns
  • Develop and support project-wide process manufacturing documentation for production activities, including preparation of Manufacturing Planning, Test Procedures, Manufacturing Procedures and Quality Planning Control Plan.
To apply for this Manufacturing Engineer role, you will need experience in a production or manufacturing engineering environment. You will also need the following:
  • Experience with composite manufacturing, industrialisation and validation, failure modes and effects analysis, statistical process control, metrology and control plans
  • Experience defining composite tooling requirements for mould and trim tooling
  • Experience generating manufacturing estimates and quotations for composite part manufacture.
