Drivers Direct Recruitment are looking to recruit a Class 1 Driver on behalf of our client to join their team in Blackburn.Hours of work: Monday to ThursdayNights 18:00 - 0600.Salary:£14.50 per hour.The Role:Yard shunting of trailers using Terberg unit.Duties/Responsibilities:Carrying out relevant nightly vehicle safety checks and reporting as per Operational Procedures.Ensure all shunts are carried out in accordance with company procedures.To complete all work related paperwork in full and hand in at the end of the shift.Essential Skills:Good communication skills.Some previous shunting experience preferredTerberg experience would be advantageousHave a safe driving record.Hold a valid HGV 1 or 2 / Cat C+E or C licence.No more than 6 minor penalty points.No DR’s, IN’s or DD’s offence codes due to insurance stipulations.Driver qualification (CPC) card.Digital tacho card. Required skills
