Elevation Recruitment have a new opportunity with one of main manufacturing clients in the Barnsley area who are looking for a Maintenance and Improvement Engineer to join their well established team. This company is FMCG based and are looking for a MechanicalMaintenance Engineer to join their well-established team due to company growth. Salary: £37,400Location: BarnsleyHours: Days - 6am-2pm, 8am-4pmA few of the many benefits: *Overtime rates available *Opportunities for progression for the right candidate*Monday to Friday work*Work for a well-established, financially stable company*Advantageous pay*Pension scheme*Training given for HNC/ HND qualifications if necessaryDuties of this position: *Provide mechanical support to engineers on a daily basis*Creating a concise log of events whilst doing all aspects of role including failure reports and PPMs, looking at continuous improvements based on this on a regular basis*Always working to a continuous improvement plan to make the company and its employees the best it can be*Ensure you are always compliant to health and safety standards*Carry out planned and reactive maintenance as and when needed as is a hands on role*Monitoring machinery/ CMMS systems and ways in which the business work in general to ensure the business is forward*Completing improvement projectsDesired Experience:*Must have a strong background within mechanical maintenance*Looking for enthusiastic and forward thinking individuals that strive for improving the ways in which you and the business will work*Mechanically trained in HNC/ HND/ ONC/ OND or equivalent *Ideally worked within a fast-paced environment previously (FMCG)*Must be a team player, but also able to work from own initiative if needs be*Be able to work to tight deadlines *Ideally have experience of working with CMMS systems previously*Ideally have experience of continuous improvement previously or can demonstrate a role where these skills have been applicable *Have an awareness of health and safety management systems*Flexible working attitude due to rotating shift pattern*Other duties as and when requiredFor further details please contact Beth Roberts at Elevation Recruitment.REFER A FRIEND!
