Job Description

Gas EngineerRaleighUp to £37,000Build recruitment are working on behalf of aM&E Contractorto recruit aHeating Engineer / Gas Engineer to work across aMODaccommodation contract.Ideal candidates will hold ACS qualifications and be gas safe registered. Unvented systems would be advantageous but training can be provided.This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading South West contractor on a busy MOD only contact. They provide excellent training opportunities with their own training facility and have a major focus on career development.Newly qualified gas engineer are also invited to apply and join the company through an in-house improver scheme.The role will will consist of working between two bases, HMS Raleigh and their facility in Dartmouth. Candidates living inbetween these two areas would be a good fit.The Role

  • Working alone or as part of a team you will undertake duties of a Heating Engineer which include repairs, maintenance and servicing to gas, oil and other new technology heating systems
  • Working on MOD accommodation at HMS Raleigh and their facility in Dartmouth.
  • Ensure works provided are of the highest quality, efficient and good value for money for our customers
Qualifications
  • You will hold a qualification in the relevant trade to NVQ (or equivalent) level 2 or higher along with holding the following ACS elements, CCN1, HTR1, CEN1, WAT1, MET1, CKR1 and CPA1
  • You will have previous experience of a wide variety of heating related works
  • Experience of working in occupied domestic properties
  • Experience in providing excellent customer service and developing relationships
