Come and be part of it.Title: Events Administrator - Practice Supervisor Development ProgrammeReference: RI042074Salary: £19,035 per annumHours: 37.5 hours per weekContract: Fixed Term until March 2021Secondments from existing positions will be considered.Our client has been commissioned by the Department for Education to lead a partnership to deliver a national Practice Supervisor Development Programme (PSDP). The PSDP aims to build knowledge, skills and confidence for new Practice Supervisors, in order that they can lead and develop excellent social work practice with children and families. They are looking to recruit an Events Administrator to support the planning and delivery of learning events across the programme.The successful candidate will bring events admin knowledge and experience, and will need to be able to hit the ground running and work to support colleagues across the partnership. This is a fantastic opportunity for an events admin professional to join an established and highly-regarded events team.Main Duties of the Post

  1. Providing administrative support to the delivery of workshops and national events, ensuring contracts, agreements, bookings and travel arrangements are effectively organised.
  2. Support the successful delivery of the PSDP, providing event administration and planning.
  3. Providing support for access to online virtual learning platforms
  4. Supporting the production, update and quality assurance of workshop materials, liaising with the wider consortium network.
  5. As an externally facing role, communicating with facilitators, venues and delegates, presenting the learning programme positively and professionally at all times.
  6. Updating the customer and events database and providing reports and information from the database.
The successful candidate will hold:
  • A UK recognised A-level/NVQ level qualification or similar in events admin or administration (D) Or have relevant administrative experience
  • Events management qualifications (D)
  • Knowledge and skills in Information Technology to provide technical assistance.
  • The successful candidate will be able to:
  • Manage time effectively and balance priorities, and show exemplary organisational and administrative capabilities, and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service and quality assurance to internal and external customers. Respond positively to all who have contact with any aspect of the work of the PSDP and clients work more widely.
  • A willingness to work flexibly to cover events, staff absences or other urgent work, including longer hours, travel and overnight stays.
  • Excellent relationship management skills.
