Job Description

Redde Northgate is the leading integrated mobility solutions platform providing services across the vehicle lifecycle. The Company offers integrated mobility solutions to businesses, fleet operators, insurers, OEMs and other customers across sixkey areas: vehicle rental, vehicle disposal, vehicle ancillary services, repairs, accident management and vehicle data.About the RoleGroup Internal Audit is an independent and objective assurance and consulting function designed to add value and improve Redde Northgate Groups operations. Internal Audit assists the Group in accomplishing its objectives by applying a risk-based, systematicand disciplined approach, to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of the governance, risk management and internal control systems.The primary role of Group Internal Audit (GIA) is to help the Board and Executive Management to protect the assets, reputation, and sustainability of the Redde Northgate Group.Your role within the GIA Team is to

  • Develop and foster enduring business relationships
  • Deliver the Internal Audit programme
  • Help to maintain and improve the IA methodology
  • Identify and monitor control improvements and follow up IA actions
  • Provide control and risk advice
  • Work as part of a team and support self-development
To be successful in this role you need
  • Generate ideas for audits and contribute to the development of the Internal Audit (IA) programme
  • Plan and conduct all audits allocated from the IA programme
  • Ensure audits are delivered on time, to budget and to high quality, in compliance with international auditing standards and internal methodology
  • Agree on relevant and pragmatic actions to drive improvement of the control environment
  • Monitor progress of agreed actions through to implementation
  • Develop relationships within the business to improve awareness of business developments and reinforce the need for strong internal control and risk management across the Group
  • Provide expert risk and control advice as required
The Skills and Qualifications to carry out this role
  • Professional accountancy qualification with a numerate and analytical mindset
  • Having ACA or ACCA, CIA or CMIIA, CISA or ISACA, or IRM or similar risk management qualification would be desirable
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Good level of ICT skill - familiar with Microsoft Office
  • Experience in conducting audits across multi-function business organisations
  • Experience in a customer-focused organisation
  • Able to travel within UK and Ireland
  • Must hold a full UK driving licence
  • Excellent administration and time management skills
Having experience in the below would be desirable
  • Experience working within a relevant business (Vehicle hire, vehicle repair, accident management, Legal, claims handling or insurance)
  • Auditing within a regulated industry
  • Use of data analytic tools and techniques
  • Understanding of risk management
