Job Title: Electrical Design EngineerLocation:NN10 8DNSalary:£35,000 - £45,000An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and maintenance of electrical and control systems for heavylifting equipment. If you are passionate about engineering, possess strong technical skills, and thrive in a collaborative environment, we want to hear from you.Main Responsibilities and Duties:

Design and develop electrical and control systems for heavy lifting equipment.
Create detailed electrical and control system specifications, including hardware and software selection.
Generate electrical circuit diagrams and schematics.
Ensure compliance with relevant electrical design and safety standards, European directives, and legislation.
Conduct feasibility studies for new equipment designs.
Install, commission, test, and operate equipment in workshop and field settings.
Provide technical support to customers both remotely and onsite.
Maintain accurate records of all work performed.
Develop and maintain technical literature accompanying equipment.
Design and deliver training programs for customers on equipment use, service, and repair.
Perform routine and corrective maintenance on equipment in the workshop.

Qualifications and Experience:Essential:

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or similar.
Minimum 5 years of experience in designing and building electrical systems.
Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar electrical design software.
Strong understanding of electrical principles, codes, and standards.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Valid passport and willingness to travel internationally at short notice.
Driving license.

Preferable:

Experience with Hydraulic systems.
Ability to program PLCs.
Construction site experience.
CSCS card.
