The school can offer a full-time placement, Monday to Friday to commence after theFebruary half term with a hope of securing a permanent role.The children at this school all have SEMH along with mild to severe challenging behaviour, so the school is looking for a Young Offenders Support Worker who is able to build a strong rapport with their pupils and act as a positive role model.As a Young Offenders Support Worker, your roles and responsibilities will be:

• To support the class teacher with the day-to-day running of their lessons.
• To support with behaviour management and utilise Team Teach skills when needed.
• To promote the positives and value of education to encourage the children to be engaged during their lessons.
• To help make the school a safe place for both pupils and staff and protect the social and emotional well-being of the children.
