HLTA - Key Stage 3/4Harrogate, North Yorkshire£90.00 - 130.00 per day, DOEFull-TimeStarting In September 2022Reed Education are actively working to recruit a number of highly experienced HLTA to support a Specialist Provision based in a semi-rural location of Harrogate.The school caters for a diverse group of learners aged 9-16 who have a range of Social Emotional Mental Health Needs and struggle to access a Mainstream Learning Environment.We are looking for motivated and committed individuals who want to provide high quality education and opportunities to pupils who attend the provisions we support. We are looking for individuals who can look past the daily challenges and can build meaningfulrelationships and see the positives in progress no matter how big or small!Personal Specification:- We are looking for a creative and dynamic individual to deliver KS3/4 Maths and English Interventions, Outdoor Education and ASDAN to small groups of up to 8 students.- Cache Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification- A vibrant person who can tailor their approach to meet the needs of mixed ability learners- To provide clear and accurate written and/or verbal reports on pupil progress and behaviour- Experience within Alternative Education Settings (SEN, SEMH or PRUs)- Experience supporting students with SEMH, Autistic Spectrum Conditions, ADHD, and other associated conditions- Team teach training and behaviour management experience would be highly advantageous- An effective communicator who is committed to supporting colleagues and understands the importance effective team work, ensuring the safety of staff, students, and the wider community.Why REEDReed Education is one of the UKs fastest growing Education Recruitment Agencies, providing expertise in SEN, SEMH and Alternative Education settings.
