Or you will have run your own HR consultancy business, worked within an SME, or specialised in employment law within a legal firm. Alternatively, you may have worked within a shared services human resource team of a large company as part of an Employee Relations helpdesk. Importantly, you need to have an appreciation of the financial aspects of running a business, be able to quote for jobs, and be comfortable working to revenue targets.We are keen to speak to people about thisHR Consultant role with the following skills and experience:- Level 5 or above CIPD qualified or equivalent- SubstantialEmployee Relations /ER experience such as leading disciplinaries, grievances, complex investigations, settlement agreement discussions- Change management experience, redundancy, and restructuring- Substantial private sector human resource or employment law experience- Up-to-date employment law knowledge- IT literate, high level of PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Microsoft Teams, Zoom- Ability to travel to client sites (subject to government advice and COVID restrictions)Based at an attractive riverside office, close to parks, gyms and cycle routes in a stunning historic World Heritage site near Derby, the company provides Human Resource support to East Midlands owner-managed business community, and training services to SMEs and corporate clients.
