Job Description

Your warm and friendly personality will shinethrough as you greet and assist staff, visitors and service users.What you will be doingShift pattern between the hours of 07:00 and 20:15 including weekends.In this exciting role atThe Woodmill, a service for women with complex emotional and mental health needs. Each day brings different challenges and experiences.Working along side the reception team your key responsibilitieswill be welcoming all visitors in a friendly manner, co-ordinating the office diary for meetings and events and efficiently handling telephone calls, emails and post.Ensuring the safety and security of service users, staff and visitors is a top priority. You’ll oversee visitor sign ins, conduct security checks and manage the distribution of keys and security badges.There’s also a huge range of courses on offer to help grow and develop your career.   • Welcoming all visitors in a friendly manner and ensuring the sign the visitor book.
  • Maintaining the upkeep of the reception area & meeting rooms are presentable.
  • Managing the office diary for meetings, events, training days and therapy sessions.
  • Ensuring confidentially and security to the service.
  • Receiving and dealing with telephone calls, emails and post.
  • Ad hoc administration tasks.
  • Ensuring all appropriate leaflets and brochures are on display.
  • Managing deliveries
To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Working knowledge of MS Office
  • Good standard of spoken and written English
  • Good IT skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to understand the responsibilities of working with confidential and sensitive information
Where you will be working:Location: The Woodmill, Exeter Rd, Cullompton EX15 1EAThe 18 bed unit creates a pathway for patients to step down through their recovery. Ivy is a 6 bed admission area and Rose is a 12 bed rehabilitation area,with the option to flex within the 12 bed area to a four bed section that can create a further stepdown with a separate entrance for those patients that are progressing well and are preparing for discharge to the community.The aim of the service is to support women to improve their self-worth, build a better quality of life for themselves and to equip them with the skills needed for community living and increased independence.What you will get:
