Job Description

Would you like toutiliseyourexperience in the assembly ofelectrical mechanical productsandusing technical toolsin aService Technicianrole working onlife saving devices If youdlike to join aninnovative businessthatoffers the chance todevelop your knowledgein an area youre passionate about then do read on!An award winning manufacturing business are looking for aService Technicianto join their friendly, busy service department and be responsible for theoverhaul, repair, servicing and testing of life-saving medical devices.This will includeinspecting, disassembling and cleaning, reassembling, andtesting of equipment- using tools to replace parts andcarry out minor repairs following detailed instructions.As aService Technicianyour new role will involve:

  • Stripping down, cleaning, repairing, service, overhaul and testing of devices
  • Assembling and res-assembling of devices
  • Ensuring parameters are met throughout the re-assemble and testing process
  • Providing support to new and prospective customers
  • Data entry onto the ERP system, raising quotes
For this opportunity within a growing business, I am interested in speaking with candidates who have experience working as aService Technician, Repair Technician, Service Engineer, Electronics Technician, or Engineering Technician,and whohave used tools and instruments in an electronical mechanical technical role capacity. The ability to use computer systems is also important.Salary for this role is £26,000 p.a. (depending on level of experience).Benefits include:life assurance, healthcare cash plan, retailer discounts and cashback, employee assistance programme, and discretionary bonus schemeThey offerfree parking on-site (however there is also free parking close by as well if this is full),and they are based15 minutes walk from the Croydon to Wimbledon Tram Line which is accessible easily from East Croydon and provides link to London.
