Job Description

Physics Tutor

A Physics Tutor is needed in an Outstanding mixed Secondary School in South London.This Physics Tutor role will be full time, Monday to Friday.The school will need a Physics Tutor until the end of July 2024.If taken on as a Physics Tutor you will be expected to tutor pupils in KS3 and KS4 Science, with a focus on Physics.Working days will consist of six, 1 hour sessions of tutoring, for 1 to 3 pupils at a time.The ability to deliver high quality Science sessions, keep pupils engaged and work cohesively with a team will be key criteria in order to be considered for this Physics Tutor post.The rates of pay for this Physics Tutor position will be between £120 and £180 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.The SchoolThe school is rated Outstanding by Ofsted, as of 2016."Senior leaders, staff and governors have built a highly successful school by focusing squarely on pupils academic and personal development.   • Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
  • A UK Bachelors Degree in Physics or an overseas equivalent
