Job Description

Location: London and Home CountiesExperience: 10 years - Post QualificationWe are Doshi Accountants, based in East Croydon, established since 1999 and a Top 100 UK Accounting firm. We serve over 3000 small/medium businesses in London, Home Counties, Midlands and around the UK. We have a back office of 400+ staff in Vadodara, Gujarat, India and we currently employ 28 in UK.We currently offer a comprehensive Accountancy and Tax service to our clients including Accounts, Corporation Tax Returns, Self-Assessment, Tax Returns, Payroll, Cashflows, Management Accounts, VAT, Bookkeeping, Tax Planning, as well as dealing with all HMRC Tax enquiries, investigations Code 8 and 9, First-Tier Tribunal (Tax Chamber) appeal and Company House matters. We also offer Outsourcing services to other UK Accountants.Majority of our clients are small/medium businesses, average annual fees being around£1750. We have a wide portfolio of types of businesses, involving retail, wholesale, property, trading and services. We visit all our clients to discuss Accounts. We collect and deliver documents. Each client is also assigned a Consultant to look after day to day matters. Our client has access to our head office in Croydon and our back offices in India for full face to face, phone and email support.We are a growing firm and have the resources to taken on additional clients immediately.Your RoleYou have a Practicing certificate with ICAEW, ACCA. ICAS, ATT.Your role will be to discuss draft Accounts with clients and give advice on day to day Accounting matters. The Accounts are prepared by our qualified Accountants in Vadodara, India. You will discuss the draft accounts with them, before communicating with our UK client, and after meeting them on site or through a Zoom meeting, informing the Accounting Head in Vadodara, what changes are required to finalise. (During COVID times, most meetings will be done via Zoom/Whatapp or over the phone.You are willing to travel and meet clients on site.You have experience in practice and happy to discuss draft Accounts with small/medium business owners.Client PortfolioIf you already have your own client portfolio and are interested in this role, we can discuss a number of options which would be mutually beneficial.If you are able to bring clients on board, an additional remuneration package could also be offered, as a secondary role.FutureAs mentioned, we are a growing firm, we are signing new clients every month and expect our firm size to increase year on year.
