Job Description

Procurement SpecialistAn opportunity to join a young growing Procurement Solutions Business, this position will provide operational procurement support to a national charity for 6-12months. We are looking for a candidate who is enthused by a varied role with the opportunity to work with a number of different clients from across diverse industries and charities.Key ResponsibilitiesThis is a customer focussed role to provide operational procurement support to a National Charity for 6-12 months.Skills desired:

  • PO placement (SAGE)
  • Engagement of new suppliers where standard terms exist
  • Contract Signatory process management
  • New supplier set up
  • Supplier Query Management
  • Hep identify and implement process efficiency
  • Recommendations on contracting process
  • Recommendations on the set up of the administration of Procurement
  • Development of Quick Win efficiency opportunities.
  • Key Skills
  • Engaging
  • Strong influencing skills
  • This position requires excellent organisational skills.
  • Experienced in these types of environments (technically) understands procurement process
  • Experience
  • Minimum 2 years procurement experience with businesses
  • Must have a proven track record of achieving results with the ability to perform to demanding deadlines
  • Degree Level or Equivalent or relevant work experience
  • Ideally working towards MCIPS
