Occupational Therapist – Berkshire Broadmoor Hospital High Security Band 5 £28,452- £34,445 p/a Inclusive of all Allowances incFull time 37.5 hours per weekThis is an exciting opportunity to work within a well-established, staffed and resourced and respected Occupational Therapy service with patients with a primary diagnosis of personality disorder or mental illness.The posts will be based within the high security forensic environment and offers a great development opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist to develop their skills. The hospital has now transitioned to our new bespoke hospital which is the most modern high security forensic hospital in the country focusing on innovative care to a challenging and interesting patient group. We have a strong commitment to multi-professional working within the clinical team, focussing on reducing risk and offending behaviours.We are looking to recruit a two resourceful, motivated Occupational Therapists, experienced in mental health (though not necessarily in forensic) who enjoys new challenges, and wishes to start their preceptorship and career with us at Broadmoor Hospital.We offer a number of opportunities including regular supervision, comprehensive CPD packages and the opportunity to be involved in the development of the service.All staff members take part in a comprehensive induction and there will be opportunities to develop clinical and specialist skills in this area.The post is located at Broadmoor Hospital, which is located in a beautiful part of Berkshire, easily accessed via both the M3 & M4 motorways.We reserve the right to close adverts prior to the closing date stated should we receive a high volume of applications.
