Job Description

Musculoskeletal PhysiotherapistModus Physiotherapy is a well-established Private Physio clinic based in Crowthorne, Berkshire. We have treatment rooms at the Wellington Health and Fitness Club, which provides a busy clinic to members of the gym and the public. We also play a key role in the support of Wellington College School, which involves treatment clinics for pupils, concussion management, pitch-side medical cover and education seminars.Modus Physiotherapy has also recently taken on the role of medical team mangement at Bracknell Town FC, supporting the club during match days, training and treatment clinics for both first team and academies.

  • Over the next year rapid expansion of our clinic is taking place within the Bracknell area, and we need highly motivated, adaptable Physios with an interest in Sport to join our team.
    • As the role is multi-dimensional across various fields, we are looking for a motivated, ambitious and enthusiastic self-employed musculoskeletal (MSK) physiotherapists who likes to be challenged and progress their knowledge.Continued professional development is an essential aspect to our clinical approach. Our friendly and dynamic team are always supportive and provide a dynamic learning environment. As such, training and ongoing learning opportunities will be provided.Aspects of role
  • As an established clinic, we have a variety of clinical presentations within the MSK speciality; including sports injuries, post-op rehab and adolescent MSK injuries / conditions
  • Role is based in our treatment clinics in the Wellington Fitness Club, but you may also be needed to support local satellite clinic/s
  • Must be able to work independently and self-regulate
  • Opportunities to work / assist in pitch-side cover for sporting events (relevant training will be supplied)
  • Opportunities to assist in education seminars and concussion management for Wellington College pupils and Bracknell Town FC (relevant training will be supplied)
  • Opportunities to go on sports tours abroad for physiotherapy cover, once fully trained. e.g. Australia, New Zealand, South Africa (paid daily rate, with all expenses paid).

  • Full time and Part time hours available
  • Self-employed --> you will get a commission rate for the patients that you treat and roles you undertake.
  • Clinic Hours worked can be flexible ; between 8 - 38 hours available per position.

  • September - October 2020.
    • Essential Criteria
  • Must have a 2:1 or higher in BSc Physiotherapy (and have recognition with UK medical governing body and own indemnity insurance - HCPC & CSP).
  • Must have at least 3 years experience within MSK physiotherapy (preferably 5 years)
  • Must have an appropriate first aid certificate or be willing to undertake one.
  • Must have a valid UK working visa
