Job Description

I am recruiting on behalf of a growing SME company in the Cross Hands area. My client is seeking to recruit a part time (circa 3 days per week) Finance Manager to join its business and oversee the day to day of the finance function.My client is seeking a hands-on experienced person who is a self-starter and happy to roll their sleeves up and just muck in!Main duties of the role will include -

Sales ledger administration
Credit control duties
Purchase ledger administration
Monthly VAT returns & compliance
Bank reconciliations
Stock control - assist to value month end stock
Invoice Finance administration
Bookkeeping duties up to trial balance stage
Payroll processing
Deal with contract of employment compliance
Track & record staff overtime hours
Track & record holidays/holiday pay
Liaise with external IT firm for IT administration

Office hours are 9am to 5pm with 1-hour lunchbreakHolidays 28 days to include Bank HolsStatutory pension on offerThe business operates a policy of office working onlyThe successful candidate will be an experienced professional who has a positive attitude and is happy to work in a small company environment. You will be a proficient user of Excel and Word.There is a strong potential for this role to go onto a permanent contract in time.
